Newcastle Cruise Terminal
The Port of Tyne (Newcastle Cruise Terminal) offers passengers from the north of England a great alternative to the southern UK ports of Dover Harwich & Southampton. Plus, should you be cruising to the Baltic’s, Fjord’s or Scandinavia you could save almost a day’s sailing as well.
The cruise terminal itself is located at North Shields (Tyne & Wear) and comprises four cruise berths which are adjacent to Royal Quays Marina. The cruise terminal offers easy road access and is just 8 miles from the centre of Newcastle and 15 miles from Newcastle International Airport.
A recent refurbishment now means that the Newcastle Cruise Terminal can accommodate up to 2000 passengers embarking/disembarking, provide seating for 700 passengers, six check-in desks with security screening and integrated baggage handling facilities.
Other passenger facilities include a bureau de change, tourist information point, taxi rank and short and long stay car parking.
